The Shanklin House – Front Door and Windows

A handcrafted walnut entry rooted in Bluegrass tradition

A custom walnut front door designed to honor the historic character of a Kentucky farmhouse while standing up to the elements.

Working closely with the owners, we designed and built a front-door made of walnut to withstand the elements, while speaking to the historic Bluegrass roots of this special farmhouse. Hand-hewn and carefully installed, this door along with refurbished windows throughout set the welcoming tone of this legacy property.
